SBI Q4 net falls 18.5 pc to Rs 3,299 cr
Country's largest bank SBI reported a 18.54 pc decline in net profit at Rs 3,299 crore for the fourth quarter ended 31st March 2013 on account of lower interest income, causing its shares to plummet over 7 pc on the bourses.

Malayalam to be granted status of classical language
Malayalam will soon be granted the status of a classical language, the Union Cabinet on Thursday approved classifying Malayalam as a 'Classical Language', Finance Min P Chidambaram said.
